What: Create an original video showcasing the ways your school is healthy and active on the go! Show us how students and staff stay fueled up on the run! The more creative, the better! If chosen, your school could win $2000 for healthy eating and physical activity initiatives. So, go bananas for dairy!!
Why: The goal of the contest is to increase awareness of the importance of healthy eating – including at least 3 servings of dairy every day, and achieving at least 60 minutes of physical activity each day, and to demonstrate that both can be achieved even when life gets busy.
When: Contest is January 12, 2016 – February 10th, 2016
- To be considered for the grand prize, participating schools must located in Southwestern Idaho or Southeastern Idaho in a Jacksons Food Store region
- Video submissions must be 30 seconds-1 minute in length and must contain verbiage or images of dairy products as well as Jacksons Food Stores logo and/or “Jacksons Food Stores” verbiage. Videos must depict the contest theme of “fuel up on the go”
- Students pictured in the contest entry must have a United Dairymen of Idaho photo release signed by parent or guardian.
- Submissions and photo releases must be received by 5pm February 5th, 2016, and can be emailed to Melissa Kish-Stoner MKish-Stoner@udidaho.org (video or link to video) or sent via USB flash drive to: Melissa Kish-Stoner, Idaho Dairy Council, 743 N. Touchmark Ave., Meridian, ID 83642
