POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Business Coordinator position develops, manages, and implements Idaho Dairy Products Commission (IDPC) functions including general office, project and event assistance across all teams. The Business Coordinator sets the tone of engagement for office callers and visitors and balances friendly interactions with efficient and effective implementation of position responsibilities. The Business Coordinator demonstrates professionalism, maturity and enthusiasm for the execution of IDPC’s mission and core values. The Business Coordinator exhibits strong customer service skills and embraces diverse responsibilities with ease and passion.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide a high level of customer service demonstrating exemplary communication skills  internally and externally
  • Facilitate marketing and outreach efforts, as necessary
  • Manage general inquiries
  • Assist team members with general office functions
  • Provide collation of information for meetings and events
  • Arrange travel and meal details, as necessary
  • Support team members in document development, editing and production
  • Support the team on large, special projects
  • Coordinate and oversee various scheduling needs
  • Assist with shipping and event preparation, as needed
  • Ensure office is opened and closed each day
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing mail
  • Manage office and kitchen supply orders
  • Supervise kitchen, break, work and meeting rooms
  • Support database management and inventory processes
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum High school diploma
  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative and customer service experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to provide timely, respectful and thorough customer service to internal and external customers, both in person and over the phone
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload
  • Strong technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
  • Solution based critical thinking skills
  • Strong collaboration skills
