String Cheese for Student Testing

dairydoesgoodfnllogo

The Dairy Does Good program offers string cheese to Idaho schools during standardized testing to encourage a healthy snack to improve student performance.

Research links good nutrition and physical activity to improved academic performance. If students have not eaten breakfast or skipped lunch, hunger could take over and may prevent them from being able to concentrate during testing. The snack, provided through the Dairy Does Good program, may give them the extra energy they need to perform better when they take exams.

“We are excited to offer our students a protein-rich snack for the ISAT test. Every positive factor can help with their achievement,” –Patricia Barnes, Counselor, Middleton Middle School.

Deadline for the 2017 program will is March 9, 2017. If you would like to check on your order, please e-mail Crystal Quallio.
