Melinda Maryniuk, MEd, RD, CDE, FADA
As Director of Care Programs for Joslin Innovations at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, Massachusetts, Ms. Maryniuk is responsible for overseeing the clinical, educational, and quality improvement activities for the division as well as for domestic and international clinical partnerships. Ms. Maryniuk has worked in the field of diabetes education for over 35 years and has lectures and published extensively for both patient and professional audiences around the country and internationall. Melinda has a BS from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and a MEd from Tufts University.
Joanna Mitri, MD, MS
Dr. Joanna Mitri received her medical degree from Lebanon and completed her training in Advanced Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism Fellowship at Tufts Medical Center and completed the Master’s Program in Clinical and Translational Science at Tufts University. During her career, she has published her research findings in high-impact peer-reviewed journals. Her major clinical interest is lipid management and cardiovascular disease prevention in patients with diabetes. Dr. Mitri is currently a Research Associate, Section on Clinical, Behavioral, and Outcomes Research and diabetologist/lipidologist at Joslin Diabetes Center.
