Presentation Objectives
Attendees will be able to:
 Differentiate between lactose intolerance and dairy allergy
 Debunk common myths surrounding dairy avoidance
 Provide clients with lactose intolerance practical management tips and techniques on how to maintain dairy as part of a healthy diet
 Respond to client questions regarding lactose intolerance

Toby is the founder of Toby Amidor Nutrition, where she provides nutrition and food safety consulting services for individuals, restaurants and food brands. She also teams with various companies and organizations as a media spokesperson. Toby is the nutrition expert for, writing for their Healthy Eats Blog, a regular contributor to U.S. News and World Report Eat + Run blog,, Men’s Fitness Magazine, Muscle & Fitness Magazine, and an adjunct professor at Teachers College, Columbia University. She also has her own “Ask the Expert” column in Today’s Dietitian Magazine. Previously, Toby was a consultant on Bobby Deen’s cooking show, “Not My Mama’s Meals” for 3 seasons. Through ongoing consulting and faculty positions, she has established herself as one of the top experts in culinary nutrition, food safety, and media.
